During my last night at the hotel, I ordered takeout from Five Happiness Chinese. I read in one of the local magazines that it was the Best Chinese in New Orleans. I safe-ordered, Sweet N Sour Chicken, white rice, egg roll. The total was over 11.00. I'm thinking that order was approximately 5.25 back in the WKU days from Happy Inn.
Ahh, city inflation.
Anyway, the restaraunt looked pretty cool. Might be nice for a little day, but a little steep for Chinese when you can get a buffet for around that much a piece. And it was yummy, but not heart-stopping. Considerable portions. Pretty tasty. 3.5 out of 5 Stars. But maybe I'll warm up to it.
Here's a photo I sent Aaron. Who thought that the overall layout of the Chinese was phallic. I agree.
I'm learning about this slowly. Everything here in Boston is insanely expensive as well.
